CALGARY- Police have wrapped up their investigation following a 10-year-old’s claims that a man tried to grab her in front of her home, and say she was making it up.

Officers went door-to-door after the child claimed the man tried to abduct her on Sunday evening. After interviewing the girl and neighbours, they determined there was no kidnapping attempt.
Police are now speaking to the girl about the problems with making false claims, and encourage other parents to do the same.
