Woman dies of injuries suffered in fiery crash on Highway 400

KING TOWNSHIP, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police say a 24-year-old woman who was involved in a fiery multi-vehicle crash on Highway 400 has died.

The crash happened early Saturday morning in the northbound lanes in King Township.

Police say a van and car that had collided were then struck by a pickup truck, igniting a fire.

Lindsay Martin, of Adjala-Tosorontio, Ont. was rushed to hospital but later died of her injuries.

Police say she had been a passenger in one of the vehicles.

The three male drivers, aged 19, 33 and 53, were treated for minor injuries.
