Missing autistic teen found north of Saskatoon

SASKATOON – A missing autistic teen was located north of Saskatoon late Friday night thanks to a concerned citizen.

Around 11:30 p.m., 15-year-old Austin Carter was found in the area of Wanuskewin Heritage Park.

Carter was spotted by a concerned citizen who passed on his whereabouts to police.

Police said the teen will be checked by paramedics before being returned to his family.

Carter went missing on his way to school Friday morning.
