Tentative contract reached between SIAST, teachers

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology says it has reached a tentative contract deal with the union representing academic staff.

SIAST’s board of directors still needs to ratify the deal, as do members of the SIAST Faculty Association.

About 26,000 students are enrolled at SIAST’s campuses in Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

Last month, SIAST reached a settlement with its 770 administrative staff.
