CALGARY – A Calgary high school teacher has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to a child pornography charge.
Officers arrested Ryan Bostrom in May of 2013 after a four-month long investigation.
He was charged with possessing and accessing child pornography, however, the charge of accessing was later withdrawn.
Bostrom was employed as a teacher Dr. EP Scarlett High School.
He was suspended with pay pending the outcome of his case, and the Calgary Board of Education says the suspension will remain in place until his employment terminates at the end of this month.
