A local musical duo is hoping to spread a positive message through their upbeat, pop songs.
Ryan Cheung and Tyler Del Pino make up We Won The War.
“In addition to the name representing the band, I think at the same time we wanted a name that represented or was something that our fans or listeners could embody or really get a hold of,” said Cheung. “Life is like war sometimes, life is a battle.”
The duo is slowly releasing their music, letting fans discover their songs which tell tales of love, heartbreak and striving for that ultimate goal in life.
“You just have to make sure that you know what you’re about and I think that we both know what we’re about,” said Del Pino. “We know what we want to do, we know we believe in our music and we like our music and we want more people to hear it so we’re just gonna put it out there and what happens, happens.”
