Laptop stolen in early morning Dartmouth robbery

HALIFAX – Police are searching for three suspects involved in a brazen robbery early Thursday morning in Dartmouth.

Around 2 a.m.,  police were called to the apartment on Nivens Avenue where a man said three people forced their way into his home and stole a laptop.

He said a woman he didn’t know came to the door of his apartment, asking to use the phone. When the he opened the door the two other suspects forced their way in.

He said they punched him in the back of the head, before taking his laptop and fleeing the building.

The man wasn’t injured in the attack.

Police say the suspects include:

  • a young black woman, 5’4″, with a slim build wearing a blue hoodie and jogging pants
  • a young black man, 5’6″, wearing dark clothes and a bandanna
  • a female with a thin build wearing a hoodie and sweat pants

Police are still investigating.
