MONTREAL – Nothing says summer like meals on wheels.
After last year’s successful food truck pilot project, more permits have been handed out this season.
This year, 30 roving restaurants will circulate around the downtown core and Lachine Canal from May 1st-October 5th.

The trucks are licensed to operate on 14 sites from 7am-10:30pm.

The mayor of Montreal helped launched this year’s edition of the pilot project in Dorchester Square.
“What I love and what I enjoy most is the creativity of Montrealers and creativity also means through food and I’m the facilitator,” said Denis Coderre.
