Warm weather ahead for B.C.

Watch the video above: Find out which days this week will be the best for patio weather across the province.

Temperatures across much of southern B.C. are about to climb well above normal. In fact, they’re climbing close to 30 C in some regions.

In Vancouver, which normally sees a high of 15 C will reach about 21 C by Thursday.

But it’ll feel downright hot in some parts of the province.

In Kamloops and Grand Forks the mercury will climb to almost 30 C by Thursday with sunny skies.

“Summer-like conditions across the West Coast this week,” Global meteorologist Kristi Gordon said. “The jet stream will shift well to the north over the next few days bringing a surge of warm weather into B.C. Temperatures in some regions could reach 10 degrees above normal.”
