A man who had apparently pulled over on the side of a road in China during a storm got quite a jolt when a bolt of lightning struck just in front of his vehicle.
A nearby tree exploded, sending bits of dirt and wood into the air.
Each year in Canada, lightning kills around 10 people with a further 164 being seriously injured.
