MONTREAL — Prime Minister Stephen Harper is expected to meet with newly appointed Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard on Thursday.
The prime minister will speak at the Gala Triompe in Quebec City on Thursday, and he plans to meet with the premier in the afternoon before the event.
Sponsored by the Fondation Nordiques, the gala is being held at the Centre des congrès de Québec to honour athletes from the eastern part of the province who participated in the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
