VANCOUVER – A Clearwater man has now been charged with killing his estranged wife and the mother of his three children.
Iain Scott is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Angila Wilson. Her body was found in her Clearwater home on Monday.
Police then tracked Scott to his home on the other side town, convinced him to release his three children, and then surrender to officers.
Wilson was a licensed practical nurse at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital and had recently told friends she feared for her safety after leaving Scott.
“He threw ice crystals at her, at her windshield, she had to replace that,” said Wilson’s co-worker Robyn Murray. “A girlfriend of ours was with her at the time and seen it and was shocked at how violent he was.”
But friends are remembering her as a loving person and mother.
“Very very caring, would do anything for you, easy to talk to, so good with her kids and other children,” said Murray.
