ABOVE: Aftermath of serious crash in Mississauga
TORONTO – A woman was badly injured Wednesday after a serious crash in Mississauga.
Two cars collided on Winston Churchill Boulevard near Highway 401 at approximately 12 p.m.
It’s not clear what caused the crash.
An unidentified woman was rushed to a Mississauga hospital before being transferred to St. Mike’s Hospital in Toronto.
Traffic in the area could be slow Wednesday afternoon as police investigate the collision.
The Ontario Provincial Police has closed the eastbound and westbound ramps to Highway 401 from Winston Churchill Boulevard due to the investigation.
