Sherbrooke to hold town-hall meeting about flood assistance

MONTREAL – The City of Sherbrooke is planning to hold a public information session on Quebec’s proposed disaster assistance program.

Officials are hoping that the meeting will allow local flood victims to obtain useful information and get a clear understanding of the aid program.

Municipal and government representatives will be on hand to answer questions.

It is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 24 from 7 pm at the Granada Theatre, which is located at 53 Wellington Street Nord in Sherbrooke.
