Residents of Peachland urged to boil their water

VANCOUVER – Interior Health is recommending that residents of Peachland boil their water.

The advisory affects homes that use the Star Place Water System, which is near the Okanagan Connector. The Regional District says recent rain has meant more turbidity in the water.

Most people won’t be affected, but children, seniors and those with weakened immune systems may be impacted.

Residents are being advised that all water used for drinking, washing produce, making ice and brushing teeth should be boiled for at least one minute.
