CRAIK, Sask. – It’s been a deadly start to the long weekend in Saskatchewan.
A driver who left his stranded vehicle on Highway 11 near Craik was killed after he was struck by a pickup truck.

Police say the man, in his 80’s, was walking south on the highway around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday after having vehicle troubles.
His name has not been released.
Traffic in the area was restricted for several hours while the investigation was carried out.
