QUEBEC CITY – Amid all the pomp and ceremony of the swearing-in of all 70 Liberal Members of the National Assembly Thursday, one little toddler stole the show as Pontiac MNA Andre Fortin was taking his oath of office.

Little Maelle Fortin ran to the front to join Dad at the podium for his big moment.
Fortin handed her off to premier-elect Philippe Couillard to free up his hands to sign the paperwork; and then she got to join Daddy and his new boss for a picture that will no doubt be the pride of the family album.
