NEW WESTMINSTER – A Kelowna man has pleaded guilty to two Motor Vehicle Act charges stemming from an incident in New Westminster that killed a pedestrian.
Gemma Louise Snowball, 25, was struck while she crossed an intersection on a crosswalk on a rainy evening in March 2013.
The Australian native was walking home after completely her shift at the Royal City Centre Safeway.
Ryan Follack, 29, has now pleaded guilty to driving without due care and driving without reasonable consideration.
The police investigation involved collision analysis and reconstruction.
The judge ordered a pre-sentence report and Follack returns to court in August.
