Mayor Denis Coderre speaks in New York

NEW YORK – Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre took his very unique brand of mayoralty swagger to New York City Tuesday.

Coderre addressed a crowd of business people at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, speaking mostly about the importance of investing in Montreal.

He seemed happy to accept the title of reformer and says he’s worked hard in his first 100 days in office to bring back trust and confidence to Montreal City Hall.

The Mayor spoke glowingly about his confidence in Quebecers who had voted overwhelmingly for a new government – one that insists it is going to focus on an economy that emphasizes provincial tax breaks and a multilingual work force.
