Police release new details in unsolved hit and run; late-model Honda or Acura involved

MONTREAL – It’s taken close to a week, but Montreal Police believe they have the first strong clue in their search for a hit and run driver who struck and critically injured 22-year-old Michel Sepieh last Wednesday in Ahuntsic.

Investigators believe a grey-coloured Honda Accord (1996-2000) or Acura Legend/TL/RL (1996-1999) was involved in the incident.

Detectives came to this precise conclusion after carefully analyzing small specks of the vehicle’s bumper which were found on the scene.

The driver took off leaving the young victim for dead.

Sepieh was rushed to hospital where he is still in critical condition.

“He had important injuries to the head and other parts of the body,” said Richer.
