SASKATOON – Over 200 people came out to the Saskatoon Field House Saturday ready to Bust a Move for breast health.

Participants, who formed teams, got a chance to break a sweat with a little Zumba, belly dancing, yoga and a number of other aerobic exercises.

Global Saskatoon is a proud sponsor of the event which raised over $198,000.

Two celebrity guests, Hal Johnson and Joanna McLeod, from television’s Body Break were at the event.

“And what’s interesting about an event like this is it’s not just the day of the event. They allow people to train up to the event. So someone who is not out there being active at the time, they see an event coming up, they can have their hand held through the process of getting a little fitter,” said McLeod.

“And it’s all about, as we say, keep fit and have fun,” said Johnson.

Funds raised will go toward the Breast Health Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital. They will also help fund molecular imaging research to advance cancer care for patients at Royal University Hospital.
