EDMONTON – A motorist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being thrown from a vehicle in a collision in northern Alberta.
The single-vehicle rollover happened shortly after midnight, on Kaybob Drive near 8 St., in Fox Creek.
RCMP say the driver was thrown from the vehicle during the rollover, suffering life-threatening injuries.
The driver, who has not been identified, was treated at Fox Creek hospital before being transferred to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton for further treatment.
The investigation is ongoing, but officers say alcohol is believed to be a factor.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
