Police say three incidents of gun violence in two Calgary neighbourhoods may be connected.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Taravista Drive NE just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
People in the apartment building say they heard a loud bang near the outside wall of the complex.
One man found a bullet had gone through the wall and into his home; his wife and young daughter were home with him at the time of the shooting. Luckily, there were no injuries.
Investigators say it appears to be a random attack.
Police are also investigating some bullet casings found in Rundle. They were called around 6 p.m. Friday; officers followed a vehicle leaving the scene and stopped it near the Peter Lougheed Hospital.
One of the people inside the vehicle was injured, but not by a bullet.
Finally, just before 1 a.m. Saturday, police were called to a shooting on Rundleside Crescent NE.
The man who called 911 said his home was shot at; police found several rounds were fired into the home, but no-one was injured.
The investigation into all three incidents is ongoing.
