WINNIPEG – A pedestrian hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Donald Street and Broadway at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday has died, police say.
The 23-year-old woman was crossing the eastbound lanes of Broadway when she was hit, police said.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and later released without being charged as police continued to investigate.
The woman was taken to hospital in unstable condition, which was later downgraded to critical condition. She later died.
