KELOWNA– A huge police response in Kelowna’s Glenmore neighourhood Tuesday evening, after an apparent hold up at a hair salon.
10 RCMP cruisers and a dog team rushed to the area just after 8:00 PM to track down a suspect.
According to employees at a neighbouring grocery store, a lone male suspect was seen entering the Great Clips Hair Salon in Brandt’s Creek Crossing.

He fled on foot towards a field across the street from the Kane Road business.
RCMP were fast on the scene and cordoned off a four block radius.
The dog team was brought in to track the suspect.
No word at this point if there’s been an arrest or if the suspect got away with any cash.
