TORONTO — What has actress Judy Greer learned from nearly two decades of working in Hollywood?

“Everyone has to pee,” she said Monday. “Even famous actresses have to pee.”

It’s one of the revelations in Greer’s book I Don’t Know What You Know Me From, in which she shares stories about her career.

“The best compliment I get [about the book] is, ‘It’s like talking to you,'” Greer said during an appearance on Global’s The Morning Show.

The 38-year-old Detroit native has appeared on camera with the likes of Charlie Sheen (in Two and a Half Men) and Jennifer Lopez (in The Wedding Planner). Her long list of credits includes Arrested Development, Californication and the movie 13 Going On 30.

But don’t expect salacious stories about her co-stars.

“I’m not trying not to dish,” Greer said. “I don’t have bad things to say so I might as well say it the way I see it.”

The actress recently wrapped work on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and has just signed on to star in Jurassic World (“I’m very excited to hang out with some dinosaurs this summer. Last summer it was apes,” she said) but Greer said she doesn’t feel like she’s heading for super-stardom.

“I don’t see that really happening with me. Maybe. But I don’t worry about that,” admitted Greer, who added that despite starring opposite big Hollywood names, she maintains a level of anonymity.

“I do feel like I have the best of both worlds,” she said. “Because I can go to Target.”
