After taking top spot in the province, the Okanagan Rockets are now out to prove they’re the best in the west.
The Rockets hitting the ice Friday for game one of the best of three series for the Pacific Regional Final. But it won’t be easy. The Rockets are taking on the two time defending national champions, the Red Deer Chiefs.
If they win the series it will be the first regional title in franchise history and the first time they’ll punch their ticket to national stage at the Telus Cup.
This years’ Telus Cup is in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
