WINNIPEG – Police are looking for help finding a suspect in the robbery of a downtown bank.
The man entered the Royal Bank at Portage Ave. and Main St. Wednesday and gave a note to a teller demanding money. He was given some cash and fled, police won’t say how much money was taken.
“The suspect is described as: Male, Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 35 years old, 5’6” to 5’8” tall with a heavy build and pock-marked cheeks. He was wearing a jacket and jeans,” police say in a news release.
