EDMONTON – A 57-year-old man died Tuesday morning in a crash on Highway 40 south of Grande Prairie.
The RCMP says a semi truck heading north crashed head-on with a pickup truck travelling south.

The collision happened at the intersection of Township Road 692 and Highway 40 around 7:45 a.m.
The man who died was the driver of the pickup truck. The 57-year-old passed away at the scene of the crash. His name has not been released pending his family being notified.
Officials are on scene investigating what caused the crash and traffic in both directions is being diverted.
