WINNIPEG – Police found a dead person in a bus shelter on Maryland Street at Sargent Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to check on the wellbeing of a person at the bus shelter at about 6 a.m.

The person – police won’t say if it was a man or a woman – was rushed to hospital and confirmed dead.
Police are releasing little information about the death and wouldn’t say whether the person appeared to have any injuries.
