One injured, dog killed in Surrey home invasion

One person has been hurt and a dog has been killed after a late-night targeted home invasion in Surrey Sunday night, Mounties confirm. 

RCMP officers were called out around 9 p.m. to a house near 101 Avenue and 156th Street.

Police say two masked suspects entered the home and injured a person. A trained guard dog was also beaten to death.

Police aren’t confirming reports valuables were taken from the home, but say two men fled the location.

No arrests have been made.
