WorkSafeBC is investigating after a 56-year-old Burnaby man was killed in a construction site accident in West Vancouver earlier today.
Police were called to the 3300-block of Cypress Bowl Road in West Vancouver after reports of a worker, who was doing some equipment repairs, became trapped.

Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to resuscitate the individual, Cst. Jeff Palmer, communications officer West Vancouver Police said.
The investigation has been turned over to WorkSafe BC.
West Vancouver Police victim services and officers are working to ensure the family of the individual and coworkers have the support they need.
