An Okanagan company is recalling more of its cheese products because of a possible Listeria contamination.

Castle Cheese in Lumby, B.C., voluntarily recalled four cheese products last week. Now three more products are being pulled from shelves.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The latest recall includes Meddo Belle and Okanagan’s Choice Cheese brand shredded cheese. The company says those products were shredded in the same room where Listeria was originally discovered.

So far no illnesses have been reported, but the products were sold in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and potentially other provinces as well.
