EDMONTON – A 21-year-old has become the second suspect charged in connection with the 2012 shooting death of Bogdan Pamfil.
Boutros Abdiaziz Mohamed was arrested on May 23, 2014, as part of an ongoing investigation.
The 21-year-old was charged with second-degree murder.
On Sept. 4, 2012, police responded to a complaint of shots fired and discovered the body of a 25-year-old in the mechanical room of an apartment building on 97 Street and 82 Avenue around 7:15 p.m.
An autopsy determined Pamfil died of a gunshot wound.
On March 14, 2014, investigators arrested and charged an 18-year-old male with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting.
That suspect – who was 17 at the time of the murder – cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
