WINNIPEG – A car was torn in half in a crash on Highway 3 northeast of Brunkild, Man., that injured three people just after 7 a.m. Monday.
The collision injured three people who were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, RCMP said.
Only one lane of the highway stayed open with alternating northeast and southeast traffic. The road was cleared shortly after 9 a.m.
Slippery conditions may have been a factor in the collision, police said.
Highways are snowy and slippery. Drivers are advised to slow down and increase the distance between vehicles.
