Calgary police look for man who harassed teenager

Calgary police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who harassed a 17-year-old girl in the city’s southeast.

At about 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, the teenager was walking to school along 26 Avenue and 44 Street S.E. when she was approached by a man who asked to take her picture.

The girl covered her face with her coat and walked away but the man followed her, making inappropriate comments.

She placed a call on her cell phone and arranged for a ride to school.

The man is described as Caucasian, 40 to 50 years-old, with brown shaggy hair, brown chipped teeth, and walks with a limp. He was wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt with dark pants, and a gray baseball cap.
