PENTICTON — A Keremeos man and woman allegedly broke into at least 70 community mailboxes in December and January.
One of them says he didn’t do it.
Michael Minchau, 31, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to all 17 charges laid against him related to mailbox thefts in south Okanagan rural neighbourhoods.
The charges include mischief, possession of stolen property and mail theft.
RCMP arrested Minchau and a woman, 27year old Lisa Carlisle, in January.
Carlisle is charged with a single count of theft.
Minchau is also accused of stealing mail from Midway and Grand Forks.
