Ridge Meadows RCMP is asking the public’s help to find 18-year-old Nicholas Boscoe, who is also known as Nicholas Van Diest.

The Serious Crimes Unit has sworn charges against Boscoe and 22-year-old David Kevin May, for luring persons into prostitution.

“The police investigation alleges the two accused lured two teenaged girls into prostitution,” said Cpl. Alanna Dunlop of the Ridge Meadows RCMP. “One of the victims was promised money and other incentives in order to cooperate with the suspects.”

Dunlop said the ordeal ended when the group was involved in a car crash in Surrey. “Some great police work by an alert Surrey RCMP police officer located our victim, and the two accused, and the details were disclosed,” she said. “This was followed by a search of a residence on 123 Avenue in Maple Ridge on January 29, 2014. Ridge Meadows RCMP were assisted in this search by members of the RCMP Lower Mainland District Emergency Response Team, which resulted in key evidence being located.”
