PRINCETON — The man accused of stabbing two women and then attempting to take his own life, is now facing multiple charges.
James Buhler, 52, is charged with one count of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon.
It happened last Wednesday, in the Diary Queen’s parking lot on Tapton Avenue.
Buhler was air-lifted to Kelowna General Hospital and in critical condition.
The two victims suffered multiple stab wounds and were transported to Penticton Regional Hospital.
RCMP say it’s a mother and daughter who were stabbed.
But they won’t confirm reports they are Buhler’s wife and daughter.
The women have now been discharged from hospital and returned to their home in the Lower Mainland.
The suspect lives in Princeton, and according to RCMP, the women are originally from that town.
Serious Crime Investigators from Penticton are assisting Princeton RCMP in this investigation.
