With the discussion on ways to grow the economy in the spotlight in Nova Scotia, many eyes are turning to an expansion of our trade relationship with Asia. But are we Asia ready? We’re joined at 6:45 by the former Canadian Ambassador to China and Chair of the Task Force on Asia Competence, David Mulroney, for a discussion.

There is a shift on the urban landscape away from suburban living to a community where work and home are closer together. Architect and urban designer Ken Greenberg is in town to talk about the trend at the 13th Carmichael Lecture, but he’ll be in our studios first for a conversation at 7:15.

This is a first for us. At 7:45, we’re going to welcome the chainsaw juggling world record holder (and proud Nova Scotian) Ian Stewart to the show.  And yes, he will be juggling chainsaws, and they will be running!

She has just been named one of the winners of the Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts. Dartmouth’s Sandra Brownlee joins us at 8:15 to tell us what the recognition means for her.

We’ll wrap up the show with a visit from singer/songwriter Dylan Guthro at 8:45. He’s been busy writing with David Myles and in the studio with Classified, and he’ll tell us more about the new release they created, Do It All Again.
