REGINA – A 28-year-old Regina woman is charged, after the body of a man was found in a North Central home early Saturday morning, marking the city’s first homicide of the year.
Jessica Pelletier is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of 41-year-old Marvin Sefton, whose body was found inside a home in the 1000 block of Garnet Street.
Police were called to the house just before 3 a.m. for a report of a man who was injured, and, possibly deceased. Upon confirming that the man was dead, the coroner, as well as forensic investigators taped off the area while conducting interviews and gathering information.
