TORONTO – A television news reporter in Knoxville, Tennessee got a surprise confession Tuesday afternoon.
While covering the story of a 61-year-old woman who had been repeatedly stabbed and left for dead, the woman’s daughter walked up to the reporter and her cameraman and confessed to the crime.
What was even more shocking was the woman’s reasoning for the brutal attack.
She believed her mother was the ringleader of a satanic cult and that she was putting curses on her and her daughter.
“She was going to kill both of us. She was so powerful. I had no idea that my mother was that powerful,” she told the news crew.
“I stabbed her three times and she should have died. She was still breathing… she was the antichrist.”
The police were called and the woman was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.
The 61-year-old victim was rushed to hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.
