SASKATOON – The search continues for a Saskatoon man who went missing early Sunday morning and police are trying to determine if three separate incidents that morning are related.

Gregory “Myles” MacIntosh, who is originally from Nova Scotia, was reported missing on Feb. 2 after his fiancé told police he had not returned home from his stag party and friends were unable to locate him.

Police say MacIntosh was asked by staff to leave Outlaws, located in the 700-block of Idylwyld Dr., around midnight following a disturbance.

One of the men involved in the altercation left before police arrived and a search for him was unsuccessful.

Then around 12:30 a.m., emergency crews were called to Rotary Park after receiving a report a person walking on the ice from the east side of the South Saskatchewan River had fallen into the water. It is believed the person was a man based on their stature.

A search by police, the fire water rescue team and a STARS helicopter was unsuccessful and the following day, police located blood evidence on the ice. Police are now waiting for DNA test results of the blood.

They also say there has been no cell phone or banking activity by MacIntosh since he was reported missing.

Police have interviewed a number of people who may have come into contact with MacIntosh and say they are unable to conclude at this time the three incidents are related.

Investigators say much more work needs to be completed and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
