UPDATE: Calgary Police say the 12-year-old boy has been found safe and sound.
CALGARY – Police have issued an appeal for help, in hopes of tracking down a missing 12-year-old.
The young boy was last seen at his friend’s house in Marlborough around 6 p.m. on Sunday. While his disappearance is not considered suspicious, there is concern for his well-being in light of his age and the frigid weather.
He has been known to frequent Sunridge Mall and Chinook Centre.
He is described as five feet tall, 70 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a diamond stud in his right ear and was last seen wearing a grey ‘Crooks & Castles’ sweater, black skinny jeans, a grey ‘Obey’ hat and black Nike shoes. He also had a striped backpack.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
