An elderly man is recovering in hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a train in White Rock Saturday night.
The man, who police describe as being between 70 to 75 years old, was conscious and able to speak to crews on scene.

Police believe he may suffer from dementia and is a patient at a local care facility. The care home reported him missing around 9 p.m., about an hour after he was hit by the train.
His name and the name of his care home have not been released.
