CALGARY- RCMP are investigating after a body was found near Sylvan Lake.
The discovery was made around 9 a.m. Monday, near Highway 12 and Highway 761.
Officials are now trying to determine if the death is suspicious, or connected to the disappearance of a 16-year-old who went missing near Sylvan Lake over the weekend.

On Sunday, Mounties were notified that the young man from Eckville had disappeared. He was last seen around Rocky Mountain House, so search dogs were brought in to try and track him down.
They came up empty-handed, but in light of Monday’s discovery investigators are trying to determine if the two incidents are related.
