Mayor Rob Ford pushes through reporters at city hall

TORONTO – Mayor Rob Ford and his security detail pushed their way through a crush of reporters trying to ask questions about the city budget and a recent video of him speaking in Jamaican patois.

The pushing started as the mayor attempted to leave the executive committee meeting for the scheduled lunch break.

He walked through a narrow hall, flanked by security guards and eventually pushed some of the reporters and photographers trying to ask him questions.

Two new videos of the mayor were uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday. The first showed him standing in the Rexdale Steak Queen location speaking about police Chief Bill Blair in a Jamaican accent and using swear words. On Tuesday he admitted to drinking the night the video was filmed but wouldn’t answer whether he drove himself to the restaurant.
