We knew they were serious, but engaged already? Apparently Pippa Middleton and boyfriend of 15-months, Nico Jackson, are engaged Us Weekly reports. The Daily Mail Online, however, is reporting they are not. While we await official announcement, there’s no doubt that Nico is proving to be “the one” for Pippa. If you’re like me, you’re asking, “is he up to snuff to be the future King of England’s uncle-in-law?” So far, I like what I see.
Here’s more about Pippa’s beau:
1) No royal titles here; at 36 years of age, he is reportedly a self-made millionaire, as a stockbroker working in London for Deutsche Bank.
2) His parents, Martyn and Ulrike Jackson, own a ski and sportswear shop in Folkestone, Kent.
3) He has a sister named Nina.
4) He reportedly went to the Harvey Grammar School in Folkestone, then on to study business at London’s Kingston University, where he played football, cricket and tennis.
5) His mother was quoted speaking to the Daily Mail about the couple, saying “We’re very pleased. They are happy, and that is all that matters.”
You know he must be serious if he joined the Middleton’s on a family trip to Mustique this year. He’s also tall, handsome (in my opinion), and appears to have no problem in the spotlight.
The pair has been seen out on a number of occasions, including the Engadin Ski Marathon, Wimbledon, The Sugarplum Ball, and the Boodles Boxing Ball.
