Despite extensive investigative work by Comox Valley RCMP, officers have still been unable to find missing 26-year-old Julia Strobach.
She was reported missing on Nov. 15 but was last heard from on Halloween, Oct. 31.
Police did receive a report that she was in the Courtenay area on Halloween, but she has since disappeared.
Julia is described as:

- Caucasian
- 5 feet 9 inches tall
- Weighing 126 pounds
- Dyed red coloured hair
- Green eyes
- Possibly carrying a pink coloured backpack
Police say she does have a history of going away for periods of time, but not this long and not without any contact such as a text message, Facebook, or a phone call. This lack of contact with friends is highly unlike her.
She is known to have acquaintances in Courtenay, Nanaimo and Victoria and is known to travel with her red coloured ‘Raleigh’ brand mountain bike, or by hitch-hiking.
