The Lethbridge Regional Police Service is warning the public about a high- risk sex offender, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his release conditions.
23-year-old William Vincent “Vinnie” Palmer is on statutory release in Lethbridge after serving two-thirds of a three-year jail term for four counts of sexual assault against preteen and teenage girls.
The assaults took place between January 2007 and June 2009.
Palmer has a history of sexually assaulting girls and is considered at high risk to re-offend against girls under the age of 16.
The conditions of Palmer’s release include a requirement to live at a specific residence; he is also prohibited from being in the presence of any girl under 18 unless accompanied by an adult who has been approved by his parole supervisor.
Palmer did not return to his approved residence and is now unlawfully at large.
